My bathroom sink keeps clogging up-well it's a recent thing. I had the bathroom replaced earlier in the year and it's only started clogging in the past couple of months. On both occasions I used one of those branded products which has done the tick but it seems to happen every three weeks now and they are expensive!

Does anyone know what the route cause could be and how I can sort it out please?

When I hadt this with our bathroom sink, I tried all the gels, chemicals et al. In the end the one and only thing that sorted it out was a good old fashioned plunger. A good few pumps :snigger: at it was all flowing like new.

If you live with an woman other than Sinead O'Connor, you need a plunger. Don't forget to cover up the overflow to make a good seal, and stop yourself getting wet...

I have to do the sink every two months or so, and the bath every three. It normally looks like someone has tried to get a wookie to wash down the plughole.

Serious reply: Do you use mouthwash? "Dentyl" can clog sinks, cant comment on other brands tho.
