New kitchen. Needs to be fully fitted, new everything
Discussion
We're planning to gut the existing kitchen early next year and replace it with new fittings, appliances, floors and tiles. Moben seem impressive on paper but I've read nothing but complaints about them. Prices are stupidly high and all they do is project manage sub contractors who are all cowboys who hate working on any Moben contract.
There are a few independent local shops which can offer a simmer service with other local plumbers, fitters etc but I'd like to know who youve used, why and what your experience was.

That's the plan now actually. There is a little place in Hockliffe not too far from me who've been doing it for 25 years and they seem to have a good reputation.
Totally know what you mean about the discounts available too, it's only good if you don't know the actual costs of the units in the first place
Thankfully my Dad knows his stuff as he was a spark for 50 years so knows what goes on.
Ideally a group of local pro's will get the work and I can just use the Moben catalogue to tell them what I like. I might even take them to the showroom

Don't get tiles from a kitchen company ffs they will rape you on price.
What a complete sweeping statement and not true. This statement also stands for the fitting of the aforementioned ceramic finishes.

No probs. We don't make any money on the tiles we sell to customers
Interesting.that you work for Intoto...
I tried to get a kitchen designed by the North London branch as some of their stuff looked awesome.
After 3 seperate calls / emails I just gave up.......
Business must be good.
