I'm shortly due to complete on a 1700's Farmhouse of cob & brick construction with 2 open fireplaces which we will be looking to use. It will need a new boiler and the missus has her eye on a range cooker (or similar)

I'm stuck on the best path to take with regards to a new system as we will be staying here for many years so do we:

Condensing Gas boiler
Aga (to do C/H & Water with immersion back up)
Wood pellet boiler to do C/H & Water as well as one lounge fireplace (Aga style cooker purely for cooking)
Pellet or biomass boiler purely for hot water (aga style cooker prely for cooking)
Anything else you can think of????

any combination of the above that will be reasonable in price and efficient.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'd favour this from the good reports I've heard.

How easy are they to install and integrate into the existing setup?

Also, are you anywhere near Bournemouth? smile

No, I'm not..

As for how easy, I've never fitted one. I've done work on commercial ones, but only on the emergency fire prevention equipment!!!

Thanks for your time wink

Think I'll get some quotes for one that does everything.
