Anyone used passivsystems?

We've recently bought a house in Scotland, which for the time being we will only using every now and again.

I was thinking of installing a remote heating thermostat, so we can warm the house up when we going up there.

I've come across the passivsystems system. Has anyone used this or similar?

I'd be interested in something like this as I work odd shifts which vary every day. I usually forget to reset the timer daily which is a pain anyway and more often than not i end up getting in later which wastes gas/heat. Is there a system on the market that can be activated/deactivated by say text etc? (don't have an I phone or web access whilst at work to be able to do it with a web controlled system) Would be nice to be able to switch it on half an hour before I get in instead of coming home to a cold house.
