Hedge trimming....

Hi all, I need to trim my little 8 foot hedge down one side of my garden.
Would this be a suitable tool for the task?

HSE would be stting themselves over that one.

Back down to Earth, when I was selecting a suitable tool to trim my hedges, I was so, so tempted to get a chainsaw. I realised it was a stupid idea and would ultimately end with me in hospital holding my left leg over my shoulder.
