It is hot.

The water is draining away, it woudl seem.

But it isn't drying. At all. Just makes wet clothes warm... and still wet. But it's a combi washer/dryer, and there is no standing water, so it can't be a drainage issue.

WTF am I missing here?

No errors on screen that I can see.

Does it do it on a complete wash/dry cycle or just when dryer is used on its own? Is the machine spinning and /or tumbling? Mine has three different thermal trips on the top and if one has tripped it won't get to temperature. Normally happens when condenser thing on the back is full of fluff.

either a blocked condenser, (on some makes, Miele especially a right pig to clean out) or the water supply for the drier is not working for whatever reason, (inlet valve).

Cheers for advice chaps; in the end I just had someone fix it... they were named Igor or Ivan and it was very hard to understand what they were saying, but watching what they were doing and seeing what they had to replace it certainly wasn't just a filter...

Luckily it's a furninshed flat so I didn't have to pay smile
