I'm moving house and losing my garage. We're moving to a ground floor flat, most outside space is shared, but we do have a small, private, sunken patio area.

Does anyone have any recommendations for outdoor storage big enough to handle a couple of small car ramps, axle stands, trolley jack and other smaller items?

Also, would I need to pop some silica gel packs or cat litter in there to keep the stuff reasonably dry?

Something like this

or a small shed.

Cant help you more with out knowing dimensions of the patio and where doors etc protrude into it.

What's your budget and how "safe" is the area?

I went for one of these http://www.tuffboxes.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=tb3

It's sat at the back of my parking space in my block of flats - inside though.
But website does state that you can put it outside.
I've got trolley jack, axle stands, two tool boxes, leccy cable, etc..........I thought mine would be way too big and I'd have space to spare; no chance.......full to the rafters.
Mine's not screwed to the floor but there are holes in the bottom to do that - it weighs 75kg unladed so once it's full of stuff there little danger of someone walking off with it.

Couple of proper second hand site storage chest come up on ebay from time to time but they were just a little too big for what I needed
Or try machinemart or screwfix

Thanks for the suggestions, the area is a bit rough, so something reasonably secure will probably be required. Dimensions I have to fit it into are around 6' by 3' max and budget is up to £250 for something that will stay in decent condition and can be sold on ebay in a couple of years.

Machine Mart seems to have a decent range, I'll need to make them look a bit more attractive/discreet though, bright yellow is not ideal.

I should go for something like the Tardis.
If you can get access, you may even be able to get your car in it.
