Not very clear, but wild privet 95% sure. 5% some sort of laurel.
Poisonous either way.

I've seen this around and thought it was some kind of privet. Might be wrong though.

Maybe a Solanum, potato-vine. I take it it's an ornamental in your garden rather than in the wild? Does it have flowers earlier in the year? They don't usually fruit that well which is why it's drawn your attention to it this year.

It's the internet, someone will pop up in 9 months with a new suggestion. I've one thing to say: Ligustrum Vulgare!

Yes, but if you don't know what it is, how do you know when somebody's posted the right answer? And how can it be 95% wild privet 5% laurel unless it's a hybrid chimaera thing?

You're right - it's a daffodil. Thanks for your input.

In fact I thought it might be deadly nightshade, spent time googling to see, found a photo that looked like yours, then copied and pasted the link for your consideration. You ignored it and chose something that doesn't any closer. When I asked you how you'd reached your decision, you didn't answer but chose to be sarcastic instead.

Had you posted a photo where the leaves or fruit were more than a pixel big, we might have a positive ID. But seeing as you're happy with 'laurel/privet hybrid', we'll leave it at that.

Not sure is a common privet, looks more like a Blackthorn

Prunus spinosa, purplish fruits known as sloes, soak them in gin and enjoy......
Zoom of the image shows thorns which privet doesn't have. Plus the leaf shape isn't privet shaped as these look more rounded.

No. Not a blackthorn, I guarantee you that (having picked about ten pounds in the last couple of weeks). Fer chrissakes don't put these into anything you plan to drink.

Looks like blackthorn, just about to pick my sloes and make the annual gin ration.
