Hi there,

Woke up this morning to what I think is the central heating pump being really loud (constant noise) and lots of gurgling sounding from the pipes in the water tank and around the boiler...

I tried to bleed the radiators before work but they didn't seem to have any air in them....

Any ideas? radiators were warm and so was the water, so it's still working!

Thanks in Advance smile

There's a lack of water in the system. Is it a sealed system with a filling loop? If it has a header tank, is the ballvalve stuck and the tank empty?

I am not a specialist.

We had what sounds like a similar problem on our vented system. It turned out the 3-way valve was knackered. (160quid to replace including parts).
