Following on from this thread:

There seems to be divided opinions over which way ones bog roll hangs.

Is yours from the front, back or could you simply not care less.

I was slightly impressed at the 50:50 result until I realised I was only the second voter tongue out

But from the back. I have to change it if it's from the front, drives me up the wall nuts

Surely it's got to be front as you have the extra efort to pull over therefore using less,
from the back gravity keeps it running, wasteful nono

Exactly!

Also when its from the back its not always clear to see exactly where the end is when in your 'attack' position.

Always the front, and I'll change anyone's who doesn't hang from the front.

From the back is just perverse!

I must be perverse. Plus I allways have to change anyones hanging from the front, glad I'm not the only one with this peculiar habit - though mines the proper way!

Don't have a wall-mounted bit anymore, so the roll sits on the side. Never really cared when I've used wall-mounted ones, but I'd favour back for aesthetics, and front for practicality.

Got to be from the front as if it's embossed with a pattern like Cushelle, it would be upside down!

From the front. The biggest problem in our house isnt which way round it is, but certain people who use it all, then dont change the roll, just expect the next person in the stter to do that.rolleyes

Its a pain getting hold of it if it's right up against the wall...so always from the front.

You may think this issue is serious. But I can yell you lives have been lost in IT departments over the "one true way " place braces in code.

{{{

function myFunction() {
somestuff();
}

OR

function myFunction()
{
somestuff();
}

Mine is usual;ly from the back....but whenever I go to B and Bs it's nearly always from the front!
I usually use 3 pieces for whatever, so doesn't matter which way it is.

I was going to bring you up on your lack of correct indentation, but the indents appear in the editing pane.

So... 3 spaces to indent? Are you mad? At least you haven't used tabs I suppose.

Ours sits on the bath/cistern/boxed in pipes next to the bog. I can't be arsed fitting a toilet roll holder.....

Oh and B and I always turn it around if I come across one fitted as A.
