I want to replace a WC & fit a washing machine. The 110mm soil pipe is run from one side. I want to cap the soil pipe & connect a 50mm wast into the end.

I've seen this arrangement before, but can't seem to find a fitting for this. Anyone know of one? Or is it something that is made on site, if so, how's it done?

Thanks.

Or easier if you aren't perfectly lined up and/or don't like solvent - google flexible boot fittings. You may have to add koi/pond/evolution aqua into it to find it but they will have one to fit

e.g. http://www.evolutionaqua.com/acatalog/Flexible_PVC...

They will be fine for waste - they're fine under high pressure !

If it's a vertical pipe you're connecting into then you can use a rubber insert/adaptor. B&Q, Wickes and Homebase sell them. Marley make one. Basically it's a rubber bung that you push into the soil pipe and then cut out the size of hole you need (32, 40 or 50mm).

Don't forget you will need to incorporate a trap into your waste run, possibly an anti-siphon trap, the configuration of and positioning will largley depend on your branch length.

I would be inclined to run the waste, then turn it vertically near to where you want to put the washing machine terminating the vertical section in an air admittance valve, turning it into a small diameter stub stack.

I would then connect into that vertical section via a running trap.
