Garden terracing
Discussion
Afternoon all,
I may have a mini digger available for my use over the Christmas period which would enable me to carry out a bit of landscaping, I have a fairly long retangular garden which slops, the OH has suggested she'd like to terrace it at some point in the future but seeing as there is an offer of a toy is ont he table I may bring this forward in my refurbishment schedule.
Now I'm looking for an afordable way of forming the terrace, as mentioned the plant is free so it would be cheap material solutions I'm after.
The cheapest I could think would be railway sleepers, cut in half and used to 'hold back' the soil by standing them on end....I'm guessing this would not tbe the best way but all I could think, any help / advise would be appreciated.
Cheers,
R
