Can anyone point me in the direction of a shower tray for a wetroom.

I want something that can be tiled and have seen some on Topps Tiles website.

Now as I can't dig the floor up do I need to build the tray up on some wood or something to fit the waste pipe below?

Has anyone seen one that comes with legs and the drain already on it?

Saw one being done once but it was just a big sheet of copper that was shaped to the room

I think I will go for that and just raise it by a few inches.

If you are buying from topps tiles try and get a trade card.
I used a few b&q and buildbase receipts. Discount depends on what you buy

Marmox

cheap but a bh to install. The more expensive ones don't require you to build a new floor underneath them, the cheaper ones typically do need support underneath.

Will try - want to order online though, will see what the options are.

That one above looks like hassle (the tiler has said get a tray instead of building something and the last one doesn't look like you can tile it??

Any others before I go for the topps one?

Ok will do.

BTW - I have one stty bit light in the bathroom - will downlighters make a big difference? Thinking of lights over the shower bit.

Is only a small room though?

Do you need to have a tray ? you only need to bury the outlet and pump it away,
http://www.akw-medicare.co.uk/products/shower-bath...

This pump system is ideal for concrete floors

Hidden trays,

I'm in a flat with concrete floors... I guess the whole floor could be raised but might be too much work!

Instead of a tray you can use Ditra matting and sheeting from Schluter.

Impey Aquadec or Impey Linear-flo

Actually, I think those are for wooden underfloor / joists - they do concrete equivalents as well.

Thats how it looks now.

I have a LED mirror coming tomorrow which apparently turns on when you stand in front of it!

Any other lighting ideas?

That looks fantastic!

I was told I couldn't dig the floor up and we have underfloor heating so have to have the big step frown

At this stage is there anything I should think or RE audio aswell as lighting?

I have apple TV so would be good to get some speakers connected to that?

Yes I had under floor heating fitted as well throughout the room. It really is a treat using it this time of year. Re Audio, I run B&O throughout the flat so I put some link speakers in both my new bathrooms. Wasn't sure I'd use it much but I'm really glad I did it now.
