I take delivery of a 6ft half christmas tree at weekend seen here

The tree is perfect as i have no floor space for the other tree this year, and the little lad has found his knees and will probably pull it over. I want to fix this half tree to the wall with a half pipe type bracket?. I have the image in my head of what it would look like just no name.

Or if any PH's have other suggestions please direct them this way.

Thanks

no idea, but there's loads of choice in the plumbing aisle of b&q. I'd imagine a metal coat hook would also suffice.

still, what are you going to do with the holes in the wall afterwards?

Google SADDLE CLIP, should be able to get a 22 or 28mm copper saddle clip from a decent plumbers merchant.

You will end up with holes left in the wall but should do the job

Or a cupboard hook and a loop of wire = one hole.

I was going to opt for the coat hook as i have some of them but i thought the tree may slide down eventually.

That saddle clip is exactly what i had pictured, i will wait for the tree to be delivered and hopefully the 22mm will fit.

As for the holes a little filler, rub down and repaint should do.

Thanks

A single screw driven in leaving a half-inch protruding and, a short piece of twine should suffice.

yesOr garden wire, and it leaves a handy hook for a picture when the tree's gone (And somewhere to hook the tree next year).
