Does anyone know what is used to bond the terminal to the glass on a rear window heater? Mine has come adrift which is a bit of a pain this time of year. I've tried silver conductive paint but that has no adhesive properties, I need something that will do both jobs.

you'll need some silver loaded epoxy. I suspect that Maplins and RS sell it, however it's a bh to get it to work reliably.

Thanks. I'm beginning to think that a rear screen from a breaker might be less aggravation.

How does that work then? Glass isn't conductive.

The glass isn't conductive but the heating element is. There's a (male) spade connector bonded to the element, the female is on the end of the wire (power supply). The male connector has debonded which is a posh way of saying fallen off.

Oh I see - so the broken end of the wire is flush with the glass?

That knackers my plan to solder it then!
