ceiling extractor fan for bathroom

i need to fit an extractor fan into my en -suite ideally i want a ceiling extractor so how do i vent it ? i'm not keen on getting on the roof and have no gable end [mid terrace] and no soffits ,i did think of venting into next doors loft but he my get the arse about making his house damp lol ,so any suggestions ?

This gives you the options for various types of fitments. It looks like there are electrical regulations though. A ceiling fan must have an external vent by the looks of it.
Your best option may be a window fan?:

i don't really want a window fan ,but options seem limited .thanks for the links .

Can't you vent it through the wall?

difficult as half the width of the room is tiled where the water pipes come down and the other half is a window it could go above the window but i was hoping for something less obtrusive like this ,

Have a look in the loft and see if the soffit can be accessed to vent the fan.

When I lived in a mid terrace I put an in line fan in the loft. This had a flexible pipe from a grill on the ceiling to the fan, than another flexible pipe off to the external grill, which I placed on the soffit.
