extends to 677m² (7,287 sq ft) and in floor area could swallow up 6 typical Aberdeenshire cottages.
Was formerly the heart of the original mansion house and contains two very grand rooms. We cannot be certain but they were probably the formal drawing room and billiard room. Both of these rooms have a southerly outlook and very ornate plaster ceilings. These rooms will make a magnificent kitchen and drawing room; one with the bay window looking out over the site of the Battle of Harlaw (1411) to Inverurie in the distance, the other with access to a sheltered sun porch.
There are two other rooms on the ground floor; part of the main hall with an ornate ceiling, which could be a family area, and then the proposed new entrance hallway (with stairs to first and second floors) which could incorporate a cloakroom and utility area.
The first floor is currently divided into what will be a master bedroom suite (S) with bathroom and dressing area, and two other bedrooms and a shower room.
The second floor has three further large bedrooms.
There are mezzanine landings between the ground and first floors (potential study) and also between the first and second floors (bedroom 7).
The house has been part refurbished and still requires some plumbing, wiring, new bathrooms, kitchen to be fitted, decoration etc. However it provides a flexible canvas to finish to one's own design and layout, a property with 6 to 8 bedrooms and a lovely southerly outlook.

It isn't the whole lot though, merely part of it...?

Looks grand, though.

Still 6000 sq feet!

No 1 is rennovated and also for sale for about £495K, and one of the others is partly done and up for £294K

Wonder how much it'd need spending on it?

They seem to have made the other one tidy for £100K but this is bigger.

But it's in Scotland. Who'd choose to move to Scotland? Even the brighter Scots move south.
