CCTV and coloured trunking
Discussion
I have a small CCTV system which covers my drive and the side of my house, recorded on a digital hard drive in my office. I was thinking of adding a better quality camera to my system on the road side to catch detail (reg nos, faces) of anyone coming onto the drive. But it is the cabling which is a problem. Without covering my gable end with more cable I cannot get the feed into the office. I had thought about running cable up the wall rather than down which would solve much of the cabling issues but it is a period stone house and it would look awful ( I managed to disguise the existing cabling by painting it with stone coloured paint then throwing sand on it while it was still wet).
Has anyone seen stone coloured trunking to protect the cable. I can find white, black, brown and red but nothing in neutral colours.
Alternatively I will have to drill through the (very thick) gable wall and run it up behind a downpipe.
