I'm struggling to think of something to get my dear old dad for Crimbo, he loves his tools but I don't really know what to get him, as I'm not much of a tool expert...!

Something under £100, preferably nearer £50 (or a few things of lower value), any ideas? He's got all the standard stuff already, screwdrivers/spanners/drills/etc. Anything quirky or new that anyone can think of that he might like?

TIA smile

Does he ever need to split logs. We've just got one of these for the brother in law - saw them demonstrated at a forestry fair a couple of months back and they're excellent

Ratchet spanners would be my choice, assuming he hasn't already got a set. They are fantastic pieces of kit, don't know how we have existed without them!

Free delivery too - and they weigh about the same as a small house, so that can't have been cheap!

The advert is a little misleading - for that price you only get two blades, and extra blades can be expensive. You can pay more and get more blades included.

It's for light duties only, but sometimes it's the only thing that will get you out of a tight spot.
