I am meeting with our spark tomorrow to discuss a rewire. Can anyone give me pointers for how to draw this up. And also any tips on things to include, like bedside lamps etc

We were fortunate in having architects plans for this house which saved some drawing. Draw a basic plan of each room and mark clearly were you want switches and sockets.

Bedrooms: make sure you can switch all lights from the door and the bed, double sockets either side of the bed, sockets where you may put a telly, sockets where your Mrs wants a dressing table.

Bathrooms: shaver sockets and maybe a bigger cable if you have an electric shower.

Kitchen: a seperate circuit for the fridge and freezer.

At least two double sockets behind any telly.

If have or plan to have a security system have a seperate circuit for that.

Think about having network cables, telephone sockets fitted at the same time while the floorboards are lifted

"Think about having network cables, telephone sockets fitted at the same time while the floorboards are lifted"

Given the house isn't massive, wouldn't I rely on cordless phone and wifi?
