My mate rang up earlier asking me to come and have a look at his boiler as he had come home and the house was cold. Its a old back boiler system with an ambiance 2 flame fire on the front gc No 37 314 17. What make is the actual back boiler as I seem to think its a glowworm but i can only find pictures of ones with electonic ignitions and this one has a pilot light switch etc?
Typically my GS Engineer we sub our work to has gone on holiday last night so just trying t help my mate out. The fault with the boiler was that the wiring from the boiler temp control to the gas valve has burnt out and also the pilot light ignitor switch has broken.
So any ideas what actual boiler is connected to the ambiance 2 fire front
