We're getting closer to moving into a new place with a lovely big garage biggrin

The only problem is the drive way is exposed on one side to an alley way that runs round the back of the house so people can walk across the drive as a short cut. What are the rules on sticking up standard height fence panels? Maybe even a gate across the drive for extra security?

Even if there are any, who would enforce them?

Rose bushes or a prickly hedge? Then sneak in some fencing or a brick wall at a later stage.

Even a low chain-link fence (3 feet high) to er... support ivy or other plants could stop people casually crossing your land. And it appears to be acceptable under planning law from the above URL.
