Is it a diy job or would a professional be required? Im not a complete tard with tools but just don't quite know how it would go about fitting on.

Something like this for example :

The main water feed into the toilet looks like this :

WTF is that thing?

Re connection the 'unit' seems to come supplied with a flexible hose which you can use to connect to your existing WC supply.

Turn off the mains (and drain the cold supply if tank fed). Fit a tee and attach the flexy to it and enjoy a cold water arris jetwash.

The question is, the tee that comes with it, will it fit onto the current set up ?

I dont understand how there would be space as the white pipe goes straight down into the ground and it isnt flexible either if you get me.

Cut the pipe below the isolator, insert tee, reconnect WC.

Flexy to bidet goes onto other bit of tee (may require short copper tail depending on the flexy).

Is there any way of checking that the tee will fit into my system?

It says the tee is 1/2" and there is also 3/8" for usa and canada customers..

I'd rather have the supplied plastic T piece after the stop valve.

I like the way the product description bangs on about using brass, and then the main connection is plastic. Not that that's necessarily bad, but the fitting instructions do warn against breaking it.

I await with interest to see what the professionals say about it.

I assume you dont have children in your house - as its well know that kids dont have a very good aim, especially in the middle of the night when they are half asleep.

'Device that sprays cold water over your arse' woud be a better description. No thanks!
