There has been a lot of talk on here about replacements for GU10 bulbs for those that already have the light fittings in place, but I'm wondering if there is a decent alternative to the fittings themselves?

I'm just starting a complete refurb of my house and my builder recommends putting GU10 fittings in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would rather put something in that gave the same sort of lighting but didn't use GU10 fittings. Something that gives good light but doesn't cost the earth to run and need the bulbs replacing every 6 months

So other than lighting tracks, is there anything else I could use?

Got your email Furtive.

If you can recess, I recommend this. It's perfect and there is nothing on the market to touch it in terms of power/performance and price. Special price for PH.
