Hello all,

We have a Worcester Greenstar 15Ri boiler, I may have just bled a radiator but now can't find out how to check the pressure in the system and or how to re-pressurise it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I think your boiler is fed via a water tank, usually in the loft. If this is the case and are still having air-in-rad problems, check that the ball-valve on the tank hasn't stuck in the up position and that there is water in said tank. It will be the small tank in the loft that serves the CH.

When you were bleeding the radiator, did the flow of water just trail off to a trickle without you closing the bleed valve? Or was it all running fine and you stopped it by shutting off the bleed?

Thanks Guys.

I suspect it was a stuck TRV, took it off and the pin was in. Gave it a 'Tap' and out it came. Put it back on and presto seems to be working.

I think you're right though Laurel - I do need to check the tank thingy in the loft to make sure.

Cheers Guys
