Does anyone know much I should expect to pay to get someone to replace the wooden fencing in my garden with concrete posts and gravel boards and vertical feather edge panels?

Mods - please don't move this to the Sport and Leisure > Sword fighting sub-forum wink

I've just put 48 feet of wooden fencing up; 6 feet high, 3x3 posts, metposts, 4x2 cross beams and 4x1 verticals...

The timber and metposts cost me £230 delivered, the screws were about £15 and it took 2 of us a full day to clear the old fence and erect the new one.

The hard part is getting the Metposts in exactly the right place and vertical. Invariably they hit a brick etc and end up an inch out of place...

I'll not be able to get proper measurements until the weekend, but it's 10 standard 6ft x 6ft wooden overlap fence panels (I think that's the right size)

If I paid for a pro to come do a job for me and they used Metposts when putting a fence in, I'd kick them off site. A half arsed way to do things.

Indeed. Hole, cement, spirit level.

And the OP wants concrete posts and gravel boards with inserted fence panels. Other than that an identical job wink

Budget for £70-£100 per 'panel' installed. Definitely go for concrete posts and gravel boards, the wooden ones I had fitted have not lasted 10 years. Now being replaced.

I was just commenting on another comment, but I know it was off topic.
