Advice needed please

I have a poxy poly ripple ceiling, which I would like to get rid of, anybody used this back to flat type stuff if so how did it go and what did you use?

Never worth the hassle. Get a spread in, the way things are you should be able to get one from £100-£150/day.

Avoid at all costs (and the costs are comparable to a re-skim from a spread - have you seen the price of the stuff?),
