I have two outdoor wall lamps either side of my front door, but one of the bulbs has gone and I have no idea what it is! Have looked in B&Q and asked in a local electrical shop to no avail. It is really odd-looking after all!

It's approx 14cm from tip to tip and all it says on the bottom is '240V 60W'. Anyone have any idea what it's called / have a link to buy a couple online?

The other option is to go for an energy-saving bulb - would this LED one below be suitable? Thanks!

Try this - http://www.thelightbulb.co.uk/product-10947/carbon...

Commonly found in older style Lanterns/wall lights.

Wouldn't any 60W ES (Edison Screw) lamp do the job?

Thanks a lot for that, guys - never heard of a squirrel lamp before! Ordered two of 'em just now.
