There is no way of saying this without sounding sinister but there is a number of blood spots on the wall in the hallway of my house.

Obviously I would like to remove these (before the local plod forensics guys turn up) but whatever I have tried just lifts the paint off the wall too.

Help is needed. Throwing it over to the PH masses.

How do I remove these stains?

To quote the lounge : popcorn :

Have you tried a strong saltwater solution, it worked on a job i was on years ago when the chippy had a coming together with a router blade at speed.

Still sends shivers down my spine thinking about it, and has formed the bases for more than one on site tool box talks.

Call CSI Lincoln?

Try washing down with sugar soap and accept that you're going to have to redecorate

I find the only way is to paint over the stains. My walls have started looking quite thick over the years, though.

You can't get rid of bloodstains. These guys and their cotton buds make damn sure of that...I've seen the do it, on telly!

You don't say what the surface is bit assuming paint / plaster then use sugar soap, if it's still there up the ante to caustic soda. Neutralise after with vinegar solution.

The body on the other hand it is more appropriate to utilise a more industrial solution such as quick lime.

I like to get an old cast iron bath for this method and you will find it much easier to agitate the process if you remove the limbs and head first dealing with them one at a time. I also find it quite satisfying doing it that way.

Have you considered your alibi? It goes without saying that you need to break into her facebook and post something along the lines of "decided to take a trip to middle africa on a humanitarian mission" or similar. This avoids all those awkward questions when people don't see her around for a while.

Also make a point of removing her clothes from the house just retaining the favoured underwear for future sexual gratification.

As you have already removed your paint in patches from previous attempts, just paint over the lot, job done

Isn't red wine good for this? Or is it only when you want to remove white wine?

Not red wine. I think it's a permanent marker he needs isn't it?

Try WD40, I've been amazed at the wide variety of stains I've managed to remove with it. Not tried removing blood - yet.

Bleach will remove all the DNA thereby making the owner of the bloodspots unidentifiable.

Err apparently.
