hi i have sky HD in my lounge, never had any problems with it, last month i had given notice to cancel my contract as we werent using it, but i asked them to extend it for another month and they updated it for another 31 days, however that was only monday and just noticed that the HD channels are all green funny, phoned sky and they said wiggle the hdmi cables about as its definately that, just done that and no joy, is it possible that they have turned the signal off for HD by mistake, the guy at sky said no but i'm not so sure...

heres the scree, i appreciate its a long shot but might have happened to someone before..

Rather than just wiggle the HDMI, try unplugging it, switch off both the TV and the Sky box then plug it all back in and switch on.

If they unplug the any channels you get a message saying you are not subscribed and need to phone the number displayed.

This tells you what signal you are getting from the LNB, this is nothing to do with the HDMI output.

Was it green just on the Sky input or over the top of all menus including the TV menus? Green patches usually means the T-CON cable on the TV has a loose connection, it can be intermittent and is an easy fix if the fault is on the cable.

I've worked for sky for 5 years now and never seen that problem only on hd channels. Things Like that are normally all pictures from a perticular input. Ie your hd box. I would say poor connection on the hdmi or faulty cable. Try plugging a different device into the same hdmi on the tv to rule out a fault with the tv.
