Bitumen based roofing panels?
Discussion
Has anyone got any experience with bitumen based roofing panels, the corrugated ones?
Futher to my previous thread about my leaking garage, I was going to overlay the existing corrugated concrete roof with corrugated pvc plastic until I can afford a new roof. I have now stumbled across bitumen based corrugated roofing panels. They are supposed to be waterproof, and look like they will be a stronger alternative to plastic.
Has anyone used them? How do they fix to the framework, by nails hammered throught them into the baten underneath?
Any words of wisdom or experience would be appreciated

Yes to all of your questions, except the one about having used them. TBHm if you're thinking of going down that route, I'd look at complete roof replacement, it's not going to be too much more, and might even be cheaper.Futher to my previous thread about my leaking garage, I was going to overlay the existing corrugated concrete roof with corrugated pvc plastic until I can afford a new roof.
