Garden works

Am looking to do some work on the garden this year but before I get me spade out, I would like to try some designs out. Lawn shapes, brick walls, etc.

Can anyone recommend any programs/websites/software, etc which I can use for this? Ideally it'll be something I can download but I don't mind paying for software if it fits the bill. (I did but Ideal Home 3D Landscape Design a few year ago but found it so complicated but that could be me tather than the software!)

I did a garden design course a couple of years ago and the tutor recommended Google Sketch-Up. I didn't ever get round to trying it though so not sure how useful it will be for you.

^^^^ The above is more for houses etc but is a lot easier to use and might just help you visualise what your after.
