Conveyancing Solicitor in Surrey

I'm looking at a property in Guildford to purchase to put my daughter up in while she studies there and then rent out later.

Living in Scotland, I have no knowledge of local solicitors and would rather use someone local to the property to handle the conveyancing.

Does anyone have any experience of a firm they would recommend?

there's a firm in surbiton I can reccomend if you want to be treated like an utter ahole as their paying client, a man who refuses to return emails, give any updates or even have a modicum of intelligence or the impetus to do absolutely anything without being prompted several times.

I was once told that conveyancing solicitors are the amoebas of law and this man is the pinnacle of all that is st with his profession.

rant over, bear in mind this was 18 months ago, and as you can see, I still get wound up about it
