Right, I have a need of some tiles of the above shape to replace some which are damaged.

Anyone know where I can get some? I only need about 50!! Colour doesn't matter that much as I will paint them but white would be good....

Unfortunately it's for inside the shower, it's basically 2/3 of a wall of the shower which has died a death, so I need to repair it.

I fear you'll have to start the wall again from scratch. If you're only going to paint it you could use a sheet of formica instead!

Can you post a picture?

No such thing as a standard sized tile any more sadly.

Basically it's an 8x6, but there are huge numbers of choices, although h&r johnson once did a range in that size.

Most likely it's an import though- That said, try BCT - British ceramic tile.

Eta - sure BCT do ranges that exact size

If push comes to shove then I will buy 19.8*19.8 and cut them yes.

Emsman, cheers for that, I will take a look.

Annoyingly, I have another bathroom I am removing tiles from but they are 150*200.........

I think cut edges would look wrong; you'd have some rounded edges and some square and the grout wouldn't cover it up. Depends how fussy you are I suppose!

Obviously the edges will need dressing.
I wasn't suggesting he leaves them as a raw edge.

I did envisage the possibility of grinding a curve - but it won't be glazed so will be very matt and porous.

Am I supposed to be able to see a picture on this thread??

If I could, it would be helpful

A picture of the tile I am seeking?

And to others, yes, cutting the tile will mean that there is no edge, whilst I can file it, it will still look a bit odd.
