Electric blanket, need replacement part

I have an electric blanket (I know, wimp).
It is a Morphy Richards 75273, king size with duel controllers. It is less than two years old and one of the controllers has failed. The controller says 'controller no. 5' on it.
Do you think I can find a replacement? I have tried everywhere, even eBay for second hand ones. Morphy Richards themselves cannot help and want to sell me a new blanket.
Anyone got any ideas please?
