Hi all, I spent the best part of two days last summer power washing a reasonably large expanse of decking from a range of 2".

It needed this because it was a horrible dark brownish/green colour and was as slippery as an ice rink when wet.

After the power washing it was a nice light wood colour and as grippy as intended, but like an idiot I didn't treat it at the time. Fast forward one year and it the slime and slipperiness when wet is starting to return (and not in a good way).

Can anyone recommend a good treatment for the decking - I'm hoping something that you can just spray on?

Well the green stuff is algae so you need an algicide.
