Help with Wetroom Floor
Discussion
Can anyone help with a wet room floor I am trying to sort out in some changing rooms.
The problem is the 1st design was to use shower trays, and now we are going to use a wet room tiled floor.
There are 4 outlets to the drain (marked in red) standard 100m tube which are flush with the current concrete floor, but not central to the showers.
There are now only 3 showers (we has to get rid on one).
The plan is to create a concrete slab in this area, with a step into the area and have it sloping into a drain/drains.
How would you do it? I need to have enough room for a waste trap, but also need to keep the concrete slab as low as possible at the entrance (not higher than a standard step). I would also not like to dig out the current floor if possible.
Any Ideas:

Last one I was involved in we made some hardwood wedges to achieve the shape we wanted, this was lined twice in 1/2" marine ply to give us 1" finished.
Under this something was pumped (I was only doing woodwork as a favour) and then some kind of rubbery plastic thing was carefully laid on the floor and up the walls to about 4' to create something that looked like a pond.
Then it was tiled.

Is that normal plasterboard that has been used?

This stuff isn't cheap, but it is rather good! http://www.wedi.co.uk and will ensure a great long lasting finish.
