Gona have a conservatory put ont back 3m deep by 4.5m wide lean to type as very modern house. I've been quoted nearly 4k for them to do the ground work and 6-8k to supply and fit glass. I want an insulated floor and dwarf cavity insulated walls. Theres a drain to sort out, its at the right height but needs the lid changing for a sealed lid.

My question is how much should this work roughly cost, is this a good quote? I am considering diggin the footings myself as regularly drive 360 diggers and am having one in to clear the rest of the land i just brought and then get a builder to do the floor and walls. How much would it roughly cost for materials and labour if i done it this way. Am just after an idea really as im think this would be cheaper but not sure by how much.

We would charge about 8k with plastered internal walls and electrics. Add 20% to the unit costs if you want rosewood\oak

Hope that helps

I'm halfway through having a 3.3x3.5 built, sounds same spec, 2.5k footings/Walls/materials, 7.8k for conservatory including Pilkington blue glass roof/2 roof vents/internal finish. I'm doing flooring on the concrete base/electrics/rad (can be isolated for regs)
