Garden Membrane?

I'm trying to locate some of the membrane type sheeting that goes under the wood chippings but over the soil for our garden. I only need about 20m^2 so not masses. Is it a simple DIY store product or garden centre thing?

Opened-out bin liners last about 20 years (make sure they're not biodegradeable of cousre!)
