What lawnmower?

We have a large garden (around 2 acres) and need a new sit on mower. We need something that will not break down, last a long time, and is capable of cutting large areas of grass.

Budget is around £2k, ideally less, but it does have to last a long time (ie many years).

Does anyone know about lawnmowers to give a good recommendation?

Briggs and Straton are supposed to be very good engines, and I would have thought Honda would be too. Any ideas from PH?

The best one for that sort of money in my view would the Hayter Heritage 13/30.

I plan to buy a Honda 2315HME - about £2k, the next one up is 2417HME at £2,400
