Having just moved to a new industrial unit we have had the block work guys in this week building a office wall 3mt away from the external blockwork wall which is built to the same height (10 block) If its of not ethe internal offivce walls that have been built are 6" Dense block so plenty strong hopefully.

I now need to create a ceiling which will complete the office but looking at the options Im looking for advice on how best to do this.

Initially I was planning to use a Joist Hangers http://www.screwfix.com/p/joist-hanger-50-x-175mm-... but it seems that these are designed to have a block at least above them.
The Walls are built and one of the walls is part of the property which we are unable to alter so no cutting the block for sitting the joists in.

Above the ceiling will be used for ocasional storage but nothing very heavyweight.

Advice please peoples.

Thanks!

Put a wall-plate up and put joist hangers on that.
