My drive's one of the old single lane concrete 'two strips with gravel up the middle' which I'm fine with, no point in replacing it as it's quite long and slightly raised compared ot the neigbours.

However to make it easier to get one car out of the garage without taking the other off the drive I'm thinking about getting a side standing added on to the drive to allow one car to park next to the other.

It's currently grass with about 40% of the required area as come sort of crazy paving. Any ideas how much it'll cost per sq. meter to get it put to tarmac or block paving? Did think about just concrete but it'd probably look a bit council.

up North around here, its about £30 per sq m for cheaper block paving, up to £50 for more expensive stuff ..that with doing the base...if you already have concrete underneath no doubt should be a bit cheaper

obviously depends on location for labour rate.....

So far the two I've called haven't even bothered coming round to quote. Anyone know a good block paver or drive layer in Rugby?
