Anyone know where I can get reasonably priced UPVC patio doors near SW London.
I want 2 doors opening out with a fixed window above (no fixed side windows).
The space is 240 x 180. Just got this quoted at my local double glazers at around £1700 which seemed a lot to me but may be right? Looked at 2nd hand ones on Fleabay but reckon this will be a minefield of problems.
Any ideas or am I trying to get something cheaper than the going rate?

A quick google finds them at £625 supply only, so assuming the company you've been in touch with can get them considerably cheaper at trade prices (£400?), they're charging £1300 quid for installation which will take half a day at the most!

I recently had made to measure double french doors with side panels and a separate window done for a grand total of £1400, fitted.
Materials were £1170 ish, fitting was £200.
Check out a few online quotes to get an idea of how much it would be to buy the stuff yourself, then get on "find me a trade" or similar and post a job to find a local guy to come and either fit... or order and fit.
I would suggest the 'order and fit' option. If they know that you know how cheap this stuff can be they tend not the try and rip you off with silly prices, but will still make sure it's properly measured and take the risk of getting it wrong just for the cost of fitting.
