Best price tends to be false economy with electrical fittings, brands like BG or GET cost a little more but are much better than tat like contactum or that sh!te from wickes.

I've bought GET stuff at good prices here: www.gwsupplies.co.uk (no affiliation!)

Screwfix have always done the MK range at a good price, certainly cheaper than my local wholesaler could sell me a box full for.

After trying a few cheaper brands I always use MK from Screwfix.

Do it right and use MK from TLC or Screwfix, it really is the best gear and is tested to destruction.

When I worked there we were under severe price pressure but quality was never compromised.

Look at the edge kit for your sexy areas, it is unmatched

Toolstation are very good for stainless steel or nickel sockets. They are made by BG so a quality job

Another vote for one of the decent brands - especially for wall sockets and switches which get a lot of use.

Not by going what I've fitted & had to replace over the years... the plateswitches are particularly bad, poorly designed and prone to visible arcing on higher loads, the captive screw mechanism on switch/fuse/spur's is downright crap and awkward for anyone, never mind the impaired/elderly and larger consumer units have fit & finish issues when loaded with mcb's/rcbo's.

Crabtree's probably the best you can buy today.
