Faded silk rug... is there anything I can do?
Discussion
I am pretty sure that I know the answer already... but just in case I thought it was perhaps worth asking the PH massive to see if there was something we could do...
The thing is, when we went to Rhodes last year I was bulldozed by the other half into buying a really expensive, pure silk rug - about 2m x 2.5m and costing around £1,600
This was supposed to be one of those purchases whereby you are buying something that will last for years and will probably be passed on to your kids when you pop it.
Anyway, fast forward 1 year and I have noticed that half of it is now quite badly faded, presumably by the sun. Is this it, or is there someway of restoring it back to it's former glory?
If not, then I am going to feel pretty sick..!!
Thanks
