Help with bolt size

I need some bolts that are 1cm in diameter and 7cm long. Despite my best endeavours, I can't find the sodding things. I ordered some from screwfix, but what turned up would be better for repairing spectacles rather than the sun loungers that need new bolts.

Most of these sites seem to assume that I know what an M2 is or an A3. I have no idea. They don't seem to give any measurements for bolts, it's all code..

Could someone help?!

Try eBay, most sellers have full sizing descriptions.

The M stands for metric, so you want M10.

Only joking, I have a few friends who don't do the oily fingernails routine.
I have to recalibrate my conversations when I'm talking about stripping and rebuildng motorbikes as all I get back are blank stares and questions of 'why didn't you take it to the local garage?'

Trouble is those simple jobs that you do yourself usually cost double as you need to buy a new tool to finish it properly.

Yes and make sure you get a left handed hammer (required for 'M' bolts) and a long weight.

If you got metric nuts you may find a metric adjustable spanner better than an imperial adjustable.
