Looking to get a cost on getting the loft converted into a master bedroom with onsuite.

Really looking for recommendations on who to use, we're near Maidstone in Kent so would need to be a company that covers this area.

It's a new build (approx 8 years old), so I expect the roof itself would need a lot of support adding once the cross beams have been removed to create the space, and we want a companty that will handle the building regs and any legal bits if poss (shouldnt need planning permissions as will not be putting a dorma on).

Anyone know a good company?

We live in a new build ( 2003 ) house with truss loft rafters.

Used this company last year for our conversion- www.trussloft.co.uk- bedroom with ensuite. Based in Yorkshire but cover whole of UK.

What attracted me was all directly employed work force. No subcontracted labour.

Have no affiliation to them but am pleased with results and happy to recommend

Can you not do it yourself?

I've just completed my loft conversion - 2 Bedrooms and a Utilty room for just under £10K

Just find good tradesmen on an agreeable day rate. You buy the materials get them delivered and help out as and when you can!
