Hi, I have a Biasi combi boiler, which has been fine for the 4 years it's been installed. Over the past couple of weeks though, I've found that if I try to turn on hot water, via a tap or mixer shower, whilst the heating is on, then I get no hot water, it runs cold!?!? I need to turn the heeating off, then run the hot water which is then fine. Any ideas folks??

Sounds like a diverter valve issue.

And that'll be in the boiler, right? Is it repairable, as in can I remove it and free it off? Or will it need replaced?

Not necessarily in the boiler. Usually just after the pump. Airing cupboard???

Mine got stuck a few years back, and some percussive maintenance sorted in for about 4 year until it finally went. Only needed a new motor though.

I'd agree it sounds like a diverter issue.

The diverter valve is inside the boiler, they are usually very awkward to change, I wouldn't advise it as a DIY job.

It will most likely need changing, unless you can buy a service kit for it.
