I'm currently in the middle of a redecoration of our lounge and dining room and have got my dear wife finally switched on to Art Deco.

I'm looking for the following stuff and have searched the web, but could do with some recommendations/advice if possible:

Two ceiling lights, chandeliers if possible, but nothing OTT - must have matching wall lights. A floor standing light would be a bonus.

Door handles, our doors are standard six panel jobs in white and I was looking for some Deco handles. Not the big face plate type, but small squarish would be good, in whatever matches the ceiling lights (i.e. Chrome with chrome or pewter with pewter). The snag is we have a downstairs loo off the hall which has one of those locks separate to the handle, a turn knob under the handle which might present a problem matching up something.

Anyway, anyone able to point me at some decent stockists?

Ta everyone.

There's two holes through the door, one for the handle and catch and one that turns a deadbolt. I suppose I could fill the lock hole without too much trouble.

How about these, for the true Art Deco theme.

Chandeliers, Wall lights etc - http://www.universal-lighting.co.uk/File/product.p...

Possible floor standing unit - http://www.universal-lighting.co.uk/File/product.p...

I know Art Deco is all about design and colour but I really like the Black and white side of things.

Ironmongery - http://www.shop4handles.co.uk/acatalog/info_AQ5.ht...
I know these aren't square but they are Sooooo Art Deco and Carlise Brass is a well made product !! and a small bolt will take care of the locking side of things.

Hope it all works out for you, pic's up when done.

Love the door handle, and they do matching thumb turn for loo door!

Not so keen on the lamp shades, need more arms and chrome!
