I know I know, what was I thinking....?

Anyway, I received an £80 Argos voucher for recycling my phone and needed a filing cabinet.

Decided to buy an £80 cabinet from Argos and thought it may have been better quality than the chipboard rubbish I received.

I put it together last night and honestly, I can't see how it's £80. Its flimsy, the quality of the runners is pathetic and it was missing two handles. I reckon its been previously returned....

Their returns policy states that if one is not happy with an item they have 30 days to return it.

Issue for me is that it also says it needs to be in a saleable condition in its original packaging!?

What are the chances of me getting anywhere with these guys?

My argument is that I didn't know it was so st until it was assembled!

My plan was to bring it back as is with the original packaging attached.

Or am I being unrealistic?

And it does NOT have to be in the original packaging.

I stupidly bought one of their super cheap strimmers last summer and the vibration was that bad it was unusable.
I did have the box but it wasn't in what I would call a saleable condition. They took it back with no quibble.
